My history

From modest beginnings, I've  grown through unwavering dedication and a commitment to continuous improvement. Each step has reinforced my core belief in the power of collaboration and integrity. I'm passionate about what i do, and im excited to share our story with you. many years ago, I started hair school and immediately fell in love when everybody would be on their lunch breaks. I would be sitting inside working on my mannequin head, trying new styles and getting tips from my teachers. They always told me I had a special eye for detail, and that my designs were so intricate, and the attention to detail was amazing that definitely boosted my confidence and made me feel like I was finally in the right direction and choosing what kind of career I wanted to do!  I also wanted to be able to help people in the midst of beautifying and this was definitely my calling! The amount of Clientele that have turned into friends and regulars over the years is so heartwarming and makes me feel even more strongly about what I do , to be able to change somebody's day with just a haircut and friendly welcoming environment and a heart to heart chit chat?! I'm such a family person and animal lover and I love hearing about my clients family and pets too!we are not just a hairstylist or makeup artist, we are also a safe place. I can only speak for myself, but my salon is a very cozy calm inviting environment ! Ask anyone ! All my clients love coming to me for a service or any kind ! and I give space for my clients to be able to speak. What's on their mind laugh, have fun dance to music and make the best memories, even if it's for a short service.!

I grew up in a small town called Cumberland BC where I lived with my mom stepdad and two little sisters by the lake growing up. I was also very close with my grandma. She is the one who truly ignited a fire for beautifying whether it was nails ,hair , or makeup. I was all in , i ended up haveing 2 beautiful daughters and put my career on hold while I raised them , went through some tough times lost everything and had to rebuild it all. This is why I'm so full of life , kind and appreciative of the smallest things , because life , well I've been through a lot.

I soon after enrolled into hair  school and it was uphill from there! Years later I met my husband and had two more beautiful babies a boy and a girl and I became a step mother ,to his 3 beautiful kids. We then together  ,had a huge blended family! when we first met it really was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! We ended up falling head over heels for eachother after our first date and he was THE ONE , my knight in shining armour who made me believe in LOVE , he proposed to me after 3 months of dating and then  we and got married!

I ended up doing my own hair and makeup for my wedding with the talents god gave me and my entire bridal party! It was then I knew what else I wanted to do for a career !
I fell more in love with bridal makeup after my husband Michael and I got married and started to persue it!self taught , however I didn't think anyone would want to hire someone who never went to an actual school! I also had no idea you could do makeup for people while being self taught?! And to my surprise I was good! Really good! People were commenting how amazing my makeup was getting! So I  started doubling down  into make up , what sanitization I needed to do and how to have the upmost safety when using makeup on others doing hours of research for a whole year just as you would in school , I continued  posting my work for fun , when I tell you I had messages upon messages rolling in from family,  friends, and then friends of friends asking if I could do their make up for prom ,graduation , weddings, date nights I was overjoyed with the response I got! I have bettered my craft and perfected the bridal makeup and even everyday makeup And it is definitely become a full-time passion, which I enjoy to do day in ,and day out alongside hair. Currently , I have enrolled in Nail technician school. I want to be able to offer as many services as possible so my clients have to look no further to get any of their beautifying needs done hopefully by the end of this year, I will have completed Nail technician school and be a certified Nail technician as well!!  I can't wait to soon offer the service to the public as a certified tech!
